Staggering stats

This evening I was watching a clip on how Volvo is trying to eliminate deaths in its cars by 2020. They want to do it by essentially building the car like a huge bumper and also add tech devises to help drivers avoid collisions.

Statistically 1.2 MILLION people die each year world wide in auto accidents and 50 MILLION are injured.

All I can say is I’m going to drive more careful tomorrow.
