Charity never faileth…but it can use some help

tags: , , , ,

Regardless of who you are or what you’ve accomplished, it’s difficult to deny that the legacy of your charity will outlive your mortal existence. Consider medical device pioneer James LeVoy Sorenson, who passed away earlier this year. His contributions to the medical field and the impact of the Sorenson Companies will be realized for many years. But the fact that he willed his entire $4.5 billion fortune to charity will impact the world for many generations and beyond. His final gesture could very well lead to developments, discoveries and cures that are now thought impossible.

It’s doubtful that anyone you know or anyone they know are billionaires…or have even met one. And it’s true that most of us won’t amass any type of fortune. But does it mean that we can’t be charitable? Does it mean we can’t make a difference? Hardly.

You can make a difference and you can do it at a greater level than you could ever imagine. It doesn’t take a lot of money. The power is in people, and the more you know and the more you tell, the greater the power you have.

We are about to embark on an amazing journey. From the privileged to the pauper, the playing field is level—everybody gives the same. No one person benefits and no one is excluded, and that is what makes uPlej so exciting. It is said that prophecies will fail, tongues will cease and knowledge will vanish away. But with your help, we can make sure that charity never faileth.
